Your files

Your stickers will show up here, ready to save.

Add them to Telegram

Open @Stickers
  1. Open @Stickers, Telegram's own bot for sticker packs.

  2. Send /newpack for picture stickers or /newvideo for video stickers, then a name for the pack.

  3. Send each file as a file, not as a photo, and one emoji for it. When they're all in, send /publish.

How it works

  1. Drop your files

Pictures, GIFs and short clips, several at once. Choose a sticker, a custom emoji or a pack icon.

  2. Check the preview

See each one in a chat by day and by night, and watch Telegram's rules tick off: sides, file size, length, frame rate, no sound.

  3. Add them to Telegram

Save the files, open @Stickers and send them as files. The steps for your kind of pack sit right under the tool.

Questions and answers

How do I turn a GIF into a Telegram sticker?

Drop the GIF here with Sticker chosen. It becomes a video sticker: a .WEBM file in VP9, no longer than 3 seconds, up to 30 frames per second, with one side at 512 px and no sound. Send it to @Stickers with /newvideo.

What are the limits for Telegram video stickers?

Telegram asks for a .WEBM file in VP9, up to 256 KB, no longer than 3 seconds, up to 30 frames per second and with no audio track. One side must be exactly 512 px; video emoji are exactly 100×100 px. For a longer clip, choose which 3 seconds to keep or speed the whole clip up.

Why does Telegram reject my sticker?

Usually one rule is off: no side is exactly 512 px, the file is too big, the clip runs past 3 seconds or still has a sound track, or the picture went as a photo instead of a file. The checklist next to the preview ticks every rule on the exact file you save.

What's the difference between a sticker and a custom emoji?

A sticker is sent on its own and shows large in the chat, with one side at 512 px. A custom emoji is 100×100 px and sits inside the text like any emoji. Anyone can make an emoji pack, but adding and using custom emoji needs Telegram Premium.

How do I make a sticker pack in Telegram?

Open @Stickers, send /newpack for picture stickers or /newvideo for video stickers, and name the pack. Send each sticker as a file followed by an emoji, then finish with /publish. The pack icon is 100×100 px, and you can make it here too.

Are my pictures and videos sent anywhere?

No. Everything happens in your browser on this device: pictures are drawn on a canvas, and clips are converted by a video engine that runs inside this page. Nothing reaches us or anyone else.
